The competition runs across two phases, challenging students to develop ideas that use space technology to solve real-world problems. The competition is open to students aged 16-18 enrolled in A-Level (or Scottish equivalent) programs within the UK.

During Phase 1, participants are asked to submit written answers responding to core questions about the potential of space technology:

Why is space important for life on Earth?
Explain how space technology supports daily life in areas such as communication, navigation, and safety.

Overview of a New or Modified Concept
Propose a high-level idea that leverages space-based technology sustainably to enhance life on Earth. Provide a brief explanation of how your concept works and the impact it could have.

How Your Solution Stands Out
Highlight how your idea is different from existing solutions. Explain what makes it innovative, sustainable, and impactful.

Participants must keep their responses within specific word limits and ensure clarity. Submissions will go through an AI review before being assessed by human judges.
