Dr Imranali Panjwani
Dr. Imranali Panjwani is a Senior Lecturer in Law at ARU, Chelmsford, UK. He is also the Head & Founder of Diverse Legal Consulting (www.diverselegal.com), a consultancy that specialises in country expert reports for asylum seekers from the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. He obtained his PhD in Theology & Religious Studies from King’s College London and pursued legal studies at the University of Sheffield, University of Law and Western Sydney University. He completed his Islamic seminary studies at Al-Mahdi Institute and post-doctoral research at Jam’iat al-Mustafa, Mashhad. His interests lie in the relationship between Islamic and Western law, immigration law and human rights, jurisprudence and philosophy.
