Overview:
In this Sprint with Amazon Future Engineer, you’ll take on the role of a Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician working at one of Amazon’s sites. On the first day of the job, you’ll get stuck straight in as one of the conveyor belts has stopped working. The Senior Engineer requires your help in diagnosing (or, in other words, identifying) the malfunction and coming up with a solution. Think you’ve got what it takes?

You’ll discover the vital role of an RME Technician in keeping Amazon's operations running smoothly and its customers happy and satisfied. You’ll hear from your mentor, a real Amazon employee, who’ll reveal all the exciting things about their role and who’ll support you throughout the task.
You’ll learn from your Amazon mentor through videos and compare your work with their model answers to refine your abilities even further.

In this introductory module, you’ll meet with your mentor for this Sprint, Özge Tüfekçi, an Automation Engineer in the RME team at Amazon! Your mentor will provide a breakdown of the Sprint and give an overview of the activity. Your mentor will also give you some valuable tips for a career in their field - so stay switched on and get ready to learn!
